POST GRADUATE TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

A Personalized Mentorship & Apprenticeship Program for Newer Yoga Teachers

The Mentorship Program is currently available for 3 streams: Vinyasa, Ashtanga/Mysore and Restorative Yoga and includes the following elements over a 6 month period:

• Personal Goal Setting – An Initial Meeting with Your Mentor to set personal goals
• Monthly meeting with mentor for Q&A, feedback and goal tracking
• Hands on adjustments skill enhancement
• Assisting your Mentor Teacher at a designated weekly class
• Teaching Enhancement & Assessment – monthly meetings for assessment and feedback. Opportunity to teach segments of the Mentor’s regular classes, followed by a constructive assessment.
• Sequencing feedback – mentor will review and advise on sequences
• Teaching 6 Karma Classes
• Attend up to 15 Hours of Continuing Yoga Education Series Workshops in accordance with goal setting and evaluated needs of your choice.
• At the end of this training period, participants will be placed on Breathe’s teacher substitution list

TUITION, APPLYING AND CREDITS

Tuition for the 6 month Post Graduate Program is $ 2,500 + hst (tax deductible as Breathe Yoga is a Government accredited Training Institute).

Interested teachers must submit an Application along with a $100 application fee (which will be credited towards tuition if accepted). Applications are being accepted now for acceptance in the 2016/17 program.

Successful completion of this program will be rewarded with a Graduate Teaching Certificate the hours of which are eligible for CEU’s with the Canadian Yoga Alliance.
